TENNESSEE – According to the Metro Nashville Police Department, the crash occurred right after 3 a.m. early Friday morning.
It happened near the intersection of Harding Place and Trousdale Drive.
Authorities say the officer was driving an unmarked police vehicle when it collided with a pickup truck hauling construction equipment.
The officers suffered minor injuries and was taken to a hospital for treatment.
Police say the driver of the other vehicle was not injured.
