Sergeant in THP Motor Carrier Plus Unit discovers unsecured load during CMV inspection

Chattanooga, TN – According to the state officials, a sergeant in the Tennessee Highway Patrol Motor Carrier Plus Unit was conducting a Level 1 inspection of a CMV at the Giles County scales when he discovered an unsecured load of coiled steel.
The vehicle was immediately put out of service until the coils were properly secured.
