Chattanooga, TN – According to the Chattanooga Police Department, the shooting occurred right after midnight early Saturday morning.
It happened on East 3rd Street.
Chattanooga Police Department officers responded to a shooting call.
When the officers arrived on scene, they found one adult male victim.
Police said the 65-year-old victim suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was reportedly attempting to leave in a vehicle.
The victim was taken to a hospital for treatment, police officials said.
The victim’s identity has not yet been released.
