Chattanooga, TN – On Friday, June 7, 2024, beginning at approximately 5 PM, the Chattanooga Fire Department conducted a live fire training session to teach cadets how to extinguish car fires.
This important training exercise took place behind the CFD training center on Amnicola.
Residents and passersby noticed smoke and flames in the area during the training.
CFD officials announced that there is no need to call 911, as this is a controlled exercise supervised by our experienced training staff.
