Clarksville, TN – According to the statement, officers responded to a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Whitfield Rd. near Briarwood Dr. at approximately 12:53 p.m.
The accident led to the closure of Whitfield Rd. from Tracy Lane to Briarwood Dr.
One vehicle veered off the road and rolled into a ditch.
The injuries reported did not appear to be life-threatening.
Authorities have not released further information, and motorists are advised to seek alternate routes until the roadway is cleared.
The police officials later released a statement, saying that the roadway had been reopened.
