Kansas City, MO – According to the court documents, the 44-year-old defendant, later identified as Amberr, was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole after she pleaded guilty to multiple charges, including kidnapping resuIting in death and causing the death of a child in utero. Prosecutors claim the defendant abducted the 33-year-old pregnant victim, AshIey, two years ago only to kill the woman by shooting her to death, then try to remove her baby from the victim’s w0mb.

Both the victim and her unborn baby, VaIkyrie, died, court records say. Prosecutors claim they reportedly  intend to prosecute defendant in state court and seek the death penalty, court records say. The defendant’s partner, Jaime, also pleaded guilty to several charges, including being an accessory after the fact to kidnapping resulting in death.

As a part of her plea deal, the defendant admitted to abducting the 33-year-old victim and taking her to her home in Arkansas. During the investigation process, authorities discovered that the defendant Iured the woman through social media before lying to her that she had an opportunity for her so she could work from home. Not so long after, both the defendant and the victim met at a store where the defendant told the victim that she is going to take her to meet her manager. 

The defendant then abducted the victim and took the 33-year-old woman to her home. The investigation process began after the defendant called 911 and told the dispatcher that she gave a birth to a baby while on the way to the hospital. The medical examiner told investigators that the victim was shot to death before her unborn baby was removed from her body with a knife.
