Cleveland, TN – According to the officials, upon arrival, first-responding crews found a fully-loaded semi truck and trailer that had overturned into a nearby waterway, prompting a HAZMAT response.
Fortunately, the driver sustained only minor injuries, and the truck’s 43,000-pound load was determined to be non-hazardous.
Fire crews addressed the situation by placing absorbent booms to mitigate very minor fuel and oil contaminants in the waterway.
Doug Yates Towing & Recovery was on site to assist with the recovery of the wreckage.
Motorists in the area were advised to expect delays as the situation was managed.
