Chattanooga, TN – Chattanooga firefighters responded to a reported residential structure fire at 5:45 AM on January 14, 2025, in the 2800 block of E 46th Street.
Green Shift companies, including Engine 9, arrived on scene and confirmed a working fire with heavy flames visible from the back of the house. Firefighters quickly attacked the blaze, finding no one inside the structure.
Crews worked together to extinguish the fire and remained on the scene for about 2.5 hours. Fortunately, there were no injuries. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
Responding units included Engine 9, Engine 14, Squad 1, Ladder 1, Engine 1, Battalion 1, Battalion 3, CFD Investigations, CFD Supply, EPB, CPD, and EMS.
