39-year-old driver dead, two injured following three-vehicle crash on Ashland Terrace
Chattanooga, TN – Chattanooga Police responded to a motor vehicle crash in the 700 block of Ashland Terrace, where officers found a three-vehicle collision involving a 2015 Jeep Rubicon, a 2021 Nissan Armada, and a 2013 Honda Civic.
The driver of the Nissan, a 39-year-old man, was pronounced dead at the scene. The drivers of the Jeep and the Honda were transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
CPD’s Traffic Unit launched an investigation into the crash.
According to preliminary findings, the driver of the Jeep Rubicon was traveling east on Ashland Terrace when, for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed into oncoming traffic and struck the Nissan head-on.
The driver of the Honda Civic was unable to stop in time and also collided with the Nissan.
Authorities stated that charges are pending as the investigation remains ongoing. Chattanooga Police ask anyone with information to contact 423-698-2525.
