Chattanooga, TN – The City of Chattanooga announced several road closures for maintenance and repair work throughout the week of September 22, 2025.

Ochs Highway between Fleetwood Drive and Ochs Highway Extension will be fully closed on Monday, September 22, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. for guardrail repair. Detours will be posted.

13th Avenue between E. 44th Street and E. 43rd Street will be closed Monday, September 22, through Wednesday, September 24, for emergency sewer repairs. Residents within the closure will maintain access.

Sharp Street between N. Kelly Street and N. Willow Street will be closed Monday, September 22, through Thursday, September 25, for sewer main repairs. Residents within the closure will maintain access.

The slip lane from westbound E. Brainerd Road to southbound Graysville Road will be closed from 9 a.m. Wednesday, September 24, until 3 p.m. Friday, September 26, for stormwater repairs. Detours will be posted.
Officials encouraged drivers to plan alternate routes and follow posted detour signs during the construction periods.
