Chattanooga, TN – In the early morning hours of November 17, 2025, Chattanooga Fire Department crews responded to a crash on the 3400 block of Alton Park Boulevard involving a vehicle that had flipped onto its side.
Engine 14 Red Shift arrived at 1:37 a.m. and found two adults inside the overturned vehicle. One of the occupants was awake and able to speak, while the other was unconscious.
Squad 1, Squad 20 and Battalion 1 joined Engine 14 at the scene. Within fifteen minutes of the CFD squads’ arrival, both adults were safely extricated from the damaged vehicle.
One of the individuals appeared to have suffered a fractured arm, and the other sustained a head injury. HCEMS transported both occupants to local hospitals for further evaluation.
Before firefighters arrived, bystanders removed two infants from the vehicle. The children were out of the car and in safe hands by the time Engine 14 reached the scene.
