Chattanooga, TN – The Chattanooga Fire Department hosted firefighters from the Tri-State Mutual Aid Association for a rope rescue workshop designed to improve emergency response skills and expand rescue capabilities.
The training was held this week at the Chattanooga Fire and Police Training Center in partnership with Petzl, Chattanooga Hamilton County Rescue Service, and The Rope Practitioner.
According to the Chattanooga Fire Department, the workshop focused on helping rescuers further develop their technical skills and knowledge related to rope rescue operations. Firefighters from surrounding departments participated in the hands-on learning opportunity aimed at strengthening coordination and preparedness among regional emergency crews.
The department thanked everyone who attended and participated in the training, highlighting the importance of continued education and skill development for first responders.
The workshop also provided an opportunity for firefighters and rescue personnel from different agencies to train together, helping improve mutual aid response efforts during complex emergency situations.
