Teen dies after motorcycle crashes in school’s parking lot, THP says

Maury County, TN – According to the Tennessee Highway Patrol, this unfortunate accident occurred around 1:17 p.m. Wednesday.
It happened in the parking lot of Mt. Pleasant High School.
Tennessee Highway Patrol troopers responded to a report of a crash.
The responding troopers discovered that the student was reportedly repairing a minibike for his shop class.
The student then got on the motorcycle in the parking lot, went for a test ride and crashed into the building.
The student suffered life-threatening injuries and was pronounced dead.
The victim’s age or identity have not yet been released.
