Assistant Chief Bryant & Major Tomisek recently visited our state capital to honor Tennessee’s fallen officers– which this year tragically included one of our own, as the name of Chattanooga Sergeant Russ was added to the state memorial
Chattanooga, TN – According to the police officials, this ceremony was part of National Police Week, which honors the sacrifices of fallen officers throughout the country.
The Chattanooga Police Department is inviting you to join them for the local Law Enforcement Memorial Ceremony on Friday, May 17 at 600 Market Street to honor our local fallen officers.
The ceremony starts at 10 A.M.
Assistant Chief Bryant reportedly said:
“It provides each of us with a sobering reminder of the noble profession we have been called to and the importance placed upon each and every one of us to memorialize fallen officers’ legacies.
Sgt. Russ’ legacy is not just cemented in the stone of the state memorial but in the life he lived and the service he provided to all Chattanoogans.”
