Clarksville, TN – According to the police officials, the fatal accident occurred at approximately 9:23 p.m. last night.
The Clarksville Police Department has stated that the victim’s name will not be released until they can confirm that the next of kin have been properly notified.
The southbound lanes of Ted Crozier Sr. Blvd. were closed for several hours as FACT (Fatal Accident Crash Team) Investigators conducted their examination of the scene.
The motorcyclist was transported to Tennova Healthcare, where his condition was initially unknown.
As of the latest update, the roadway has been reopened to traffic. The CPD has urged anyone with information about the crash to contact FACT Investigator Gadberry at (931) 648-0656, ext. 5221.
Motorists were previously advised to find alternate routes while the investigation and cleanup were underway.
The police department continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding the single-vehicle crash.
