PENNSYLVANIA – According to the police officials, the 28-year-old woman, later identified as Dominiqe, was arrested and later charged with aggravated assauIt after she reportedly walked up to two people and their baby before firing 2 shots at the mother and the child after the father ran away. The woman fired 2 shots, which missed both parents, buts hit the child in the leg, police officials said in their statement.

The investigation began this week after the 911 caller told the dispatcher about shots fired. The responding officers discovered that the baby was rushed to the hospital by a passerby. The child is in stable condition, police officials said. During the investigation process, authorities discovered that the 28-year-old shooter approached both parents before the father ran away. 

The woman then came back at the mom, who is a juveniIe, and her baby before shooting two shots, one hitting the child in the leg. The unidentified passerby who took the baby to the hospital reportedly local news outlet: “I find out the baby was 7 months and both parents said they have warrants. They got out the car and I took the baby. I just felt like I had to protect this child. This person came up and didn’t care with no remorse and just fired and walked away like nothing happened.”

The parents were discovered by police officers 1 hour after the shooting, because they were afraid that officers would take them into custody. During the investigation process, authorities also discovered that the shooting occurred over a drug debt, hundred dollars.
