Chattanooga, TN – The Chattanooga Fire Department celebrated the promotion of a dedicated firefighter from Engine 16 Green Shift to the rank of lieutenant.

Recognized for his hard work and expertise, he has earned a reputation for handling fire scenes with focus and professionalism.

Fire Chief Phil Hyman commended the newly promoted lieutenant, stating, “I know you’re up to this challenge. You have a great reputation with passion for the fire service, and lieutenant will suit you well.

You’ve always been eager to learn and improve, and that will take you far. Keep pushing forward and helping younger firefighters learn. I know this isn’t your last promotion because you are the future of our department.”
