Chattanooga Fire Department completes “Sound the Alarm” event in North Brainerd

Chattanooga, TN – The Chattanooga Fire Department announced the success of its “Sound the Alarm” event in North Brainerd, where teams went door to door to check smoke alarms and promote fire safety.
Crews visited more than 120 homes across five areas to ensure residents had working smoke alarms, emphasizing their importance as a first line of defense and a critical tool for escaping fires safely.
Fire officials thanked the community for their participation and noted it was a pleasure meeting so many residents while promoting life-saving safety measures.
