Chattanooga homicide investigator honored for victim support in investigations
Chattanooga, TN – Homicide Investigator Marina Wilkerson of the Chattanooga Police Department has been recognized with the Victim Support in Investigations award at the CPD Annual Awards Ceremony.
The award is given each year to an investigator who demonstrates a strong commitment to supporting crime victims and their families throughout the investigative process.
Wilkerson, who has served with CPD for six years, including two in the Homicide Unit, has been praised for her dedication to coordinating with the department’s Victim Services Unit.
Her efforts help ensure that victim advocates have the necessary information to provide the best possible support to affected families.
