Chattanooga, TN – The Chattanooga Police Department is celebrating the retirement of a distinguished lieutenant after 30 years of dedicated service to the community.

Over the years, this officer served in numerous roles, including Patrol, Investigations, and as Court Liaison. Additionally, they held positions as a Field Training Officer and worked on specialized cases, including Child Abuse and Robbery Investigations.

Throughout their career, the officer was promoted to Lieutenant and oversaw multiple divisions, including Property Crimes, the Family Justice Center, Special Operations, and most recently, Recruiting and Community Development.

In addition to their law enforcement career, the officer was heavily involved with the Boy Scouts of America, earning the Silver Beaver award for exceptional service to youth.

Outside of work, they enjoyed outdoor adventures such as camping, sailing, and scuba diving, while mentoring and supporting young individuals in achieving remarkable accomplishments.

The department expresses deep gratitude for the officer’s years of service and wishes them the best in retirement, knowing their impact on both the community and the department will be felt for years to come.
