Chattanooga, TN – The Chattanooga Police Department has formally recognized longtime volunteer Danny Boone as the Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association Member of the Year.
Boone, who has dedicated nearly two decades to the organization, was celebrated for his unwavering support and service.
Although Boone was unable to attend the department’s annual awards ceremony earlier this year, CPD made sure to spotlight his contributions publicly after presenting him with his award.
For the past five years, Boone has served as the CPAAA’s treasurer, devoting countless volunteer hours to CPD operations and community events. From assisting with academy graduations to stepping in wherever help is needed, Boone has become a vital part of the department’s extended family.
“We’re lucky to have him—and the rest of the amazing CPAAA crew,” the department shared in a public statement.
