Chattanooga Police investigating homicide after man shot and killed early Monday morning

Chattanooga, TN – According to the Chattanooga Police Department, the shooting occurred right before 2 a.m. Monday.
It happened at a home in the 3200 block of 7th Avenue.
Chattanooga Police Department officers responded to a shooting call.
When the officers arrived on scene, they found one male victim.
Police say the 48-year-old victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
He was later identified as Alfred Clarence Pitmon.
No suspects have been arrested yet.
