Chattanooga, TN – Hundreds of people gathered for the 11th annual Chattanooga 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb, an event honoring the heroes who lost their lives during the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001.
Participants carried photos of fallen firefighters as they climbed 110 flights of stairs, symbolizing the height of the World Trade Center towers. At the conclusion of the climb, each firefighter’s name was read aloud in remembrance.
The event served as both a tribute and a reflection of the sacrifice made by first responders who rushed to save lives on that tragic day.
The Chattanooga Lookouts hosted this year’s memorial climb, with strong support from the community and the Chattanooga Fire Department.
