CPD announced that members of the Community Police Academy will have the opportunity to try out their high-tech driving simulator as part of the academy’s immersive experience
Chattanooga, TN – According to the police officials, members of the Community Police Academy will have the opportunity to try out their high-tech driving simulator as part of the academy’s immersive experience.
The fall session of the academy is set to begin on September 5th and will continue every Thursday until October 31st, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., at the Police Services Center on 3410 Amnicola Highway.
This free program provides residents with a unique, behind-the-scenes look at the department’s operations and the training officers undergo for their roles.
Participants will have the chance to engage with driving simulators, observe live K9 handling demonstrations, and learn more about police work through hands-on experiences.
The department is currently accepting applications for the 2024 Fall Community Police Academy.
