HCHD confirms the detection of the Omicron COVID-19 variant in Hamilton County
Chattanooga, TN – According to the health officials, the first case of the omicron variant of COVID-19 has been confirmed in Hamilton County.
Health officials said that this is the first time the variant has been detected in the Chattanooga area.
HCHD urges everyone to schedule a vaccine or a vaccine booster shot.
Officials say there are far more cases out there that have not been detected.
