Nashville, TN – Per reports, the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department shared that a suspected drunk driver rear-ended an MNPD patrol car on I-40 East near Briley Parkway last night.
The officer was responding to a crash involving another suspected drunk driver when the patrol car was struck.
Fortunately, there were no fatalities or serious injuries, and both drivers were arrested for DUI.
The department urged the public to avoid drinking and driving.
