Blount County, TN – According to the court documents, his name is Tony Lee Light and he was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole.
The 33-year-old defendant was sentenced on Monday.
Jurors found him guilty of first-degree murder during the perpetration of child abuse and of second-degree murder.
According to the court documents, the 33-year-old father suffocated his 5-month-old daughter, Aida Light, in 2011 because she wouldn’t stop crying.
