Chattanooga, TN – The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency is now accepting submissions for its 2025-26 photo contest. Winning entries will be featured in the Tennessee Wildlife annual calendar, which highlights the state’s native species and outdoor activities.

Photographers can submit up to 10 horizontal (landscape) images showcasing wildlife native to Tennessee. Hunting, fishing, and boating-themed photos are also welcome.

The calendar, covering August 2025 through July 2026, is designed to include hunting season dates. Winning photographers will receive a $60 cash prize for each photo selected.

Entries must be in JPEG format, with a minimum resolution of 300 pixels per inch, and sized to print no smaller than 8 ½ x 11 inches. The submission deadline is March 17, 2025.

TWRA will retain all submitted photos for potential use in other agency publications, license cards, websites, and media.

Tennessee Wildlife magazine, the official publication of TWRA, offers subscriptions starting at $10 per year.
