Chattanooga, TN – Several luxury cars were destroyed Thursday morning when a transport trailer caught fire in Lookout Valley. Chattanooga Fire Department’s Green Shift companies were called to the QT gas station on Browns Ferry Road at 9:45 a.m. on September 18, 2025, for a vehicle fire.

Firefighters arrived to find the transport trailer fully engulfed, with five vehicles inside. Crews used an aerial master stream to help extinguish the blaze.

The driver told fire officials that he was traveling on the interstate when another motorist alerted him to smoke coming from the trailer. He pulled into the back parking lot of the gas station, discovered the cars on fire, and called 911.

No injuries were reported, but the trailer and its contents — two Corvette C8s, two McLaren 720s, and an Audi R8 — were destroyed.

The property owner and trucking company are coordinating cleanup efforts. Stormwater officials were also on site to address runoff from the incident.

Responding units included Engine 1, Ladder 5, Engine 5, Battalion 1, and CFD investigators.
