Chattanooga, TN – On June 8, 2025, at approximately 4:40 p.m., the Chattanooga Police Department responded to a two-vehicle collision involving motorcycles in the 100 block of Honest Street that tragically resulted in the death of a 52-year-old man.
According to the preliminary investigation conducted by the Chattanooga Police Department Traffic Unit, both motorcycles were traveling northbound when the operator of the second motorcycle lost control, causing the bike to wobble.
The first motorcycle then collided with the rear of the second, ejecting the operator of the second vehicle, who was subsequently struck by the first motorcycle.
First responders provided life-saving efforts at the scene before Hamilton County EMS transported the injured rider to a local hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
