Albuquerque, N.M. – According to the police officials, the 30-year-old educator from New Mexico, later identified as MichaeIa, was arrested and later charged with multiple charges, including criminal se-ual penettration and se-ual contact with a minor after she reportedly had lndecent relationship with one of her students. Authorities in New Mexico claim the woman, who is married, started having se* with the boy in just weeks after starting her new job with the school district.
The 30-year-old defendant was taken into custody last week and is being held at the local detention center, court records say. According to the police officials, the investigation process began after the woman and the victim, who was not identified due to his age, were seen kissing near the school earlier this month.
When school officials were notified about the relationship, they reportedly checked the surveillance cameras and found footage that confirmed the claims. The school principal then called the educator, who reportedly told them not to tell her husband. School officials released a statement, saying that the teaccher worked for the school for several weeks before the incident.
According to the police officials, the unidentified victim was questioned and the educator was arrested just several days later. The school district released the following statement: “The District follows all laws and policies with regards to the hiring of employees, including a comprehensive background check. The District is now concentrating our efforts and resources to assist students requiring support and guidance.”
