Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Fire Rescue Fire Prevention, along with Station 4 personnel, visited the Public Library to provide fire safety and prevention education to adults with disabilities.
The event aimed to equip participants with essential knowledge, recognizing that many of them live with caregivers but may occasionally need to tend to themselves.
The session focused on empowering these individuals with critical safety skills.
Firefighters described the experience as uplifting, noting the joy and engagement of the attendees. “Just to interact and see the smiles on these individuals was fantastic,” a representative shared.
Clarksville Fire Rescue expressed hope to continue educating these groups in the future, emphasizing the importance of inclusive outreach and safety awareness.
