Chattanooga, TN – The Chattanooga Police Department will host its Coats for Kids Drive on Tuesday, December 5, 2024, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at Hamilton Place Mall. The event aims to collect new coats and monetary donations to benefit children in need throughout the community.
Firefighters, police officers, and EMS teams will be on-site to accept donations. All contributions will stay local, ensuring warmth and holiday cheer for children in the area.
The drive also recognizes the Forgotten Child Fund, founded in 1962 by CPD Officer Johnny Wright, for its continued dedication to brightening the lives of children during the holiday season.
Residents are encouraged to join this effort and spread love throughout the community.
