Chattanooga, TN – The City of Chattanooga will host a purchasing expo to help area businesses learn how the city sources and works with local vendors, part of ongoing efforts to simplify and streamline the process of doing business with the city.

The expo will take place from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Thursday, September 25, at the East Chattanooga Community Center, 2409 Dodson Ave. Registration is not required.

City staff will provide onsite assistance for the Supplier Portal, an online platform designed to connect businesses with upcoming opportunities and streamline the procurement process.

Vendors who sign up gain access to bid notifications and resources to help navigate the city’s procurement procedures. Spanish interpreters will also be available during the event.
