Local K9 Team wins 1st place at National Detector Dog Field Trials
Chattanooga, TN – Chattanooga Police Department officials announced that Officer Gerity and his K9 partner, Sully, have achieved first place in the vehicular narcotics detection category at the National Detector Dog Field Trials. Competing against 57 other narcotics K9 teams, Officer Gerity and Sully demonstrated outstanding skill and teamwork to secure the top spot.
This prestigious event, organized by the United States Police Canine Association, Inc., brought together the best K9 teams from across the nation to showcase their abilities in narcotics detection. Officer Gerity and K9 Sully’s success highlights their dedication and rigorous training.
