Man involved in shooting of THP trooper taken into custody, efforts to apprehend the remaining suspects continue
Chattanooga, TN – According to the police officials, the search for the man who was reportedly involved in the in the shooting of Trooper Cothron, Braze Rucker, was arrested in Kentucky.
Kentucky State Police troopers, utilizing handcuffs from Tennessee Highway Patrol Trooper Cothron, successfully took Rucker into custody.
The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, along with all law enforcement agencies in Tennessee, played a crucial role in this operation, and the support from citizens across the state has been greatly appreciated.
The investigation now shifts to locating the other occupants of the Kia Forte involved in the shooting of Trooper Cothron.
Trooper Cothron remains in critical condition, and efforts to apprehend the remaining suspects continue.
