Chattanooga, TN – According to the police officials, this unfortunate incident occurred around 6:15 p.m. Wednesday.
Police say it happened in the 6500 block near the DMV branch.
Chattanooga Police Departemnt officers responded to a shooting call.
When the officers arrived on scene, they found a female victim.
Police say the victim was shot in the leg.
She suffered non life-threatening injuries and was taken to a local hospital.
