Chattanooga Police Department launches initiative to enhance transparency and accountability with community
Chattanooga, TN – According tot he police officials, the CPD Policy Dashboard provides direct online access to the department’s policies, reinforcing its commitment to openness and public trust.
The dashboard features policies that guide the department’s operations, which are developed based on best practices in policing, national and state law, and evolving community needs.
The CPD believes that by making these policies available, they are upholding their commitment to integrity and ensuring the public stays informed about how the department operates.
These policies will be updated regularly as they are reviewed and approved by the CPD Policy Review Committee and Chief of Police John Chambers.
