CPD: 57-year-old man who was hit crossing MLK Boulevard last Thursday morning has died

Chattanooga, TN – According to the police officials, the accident occurred right after 8 a.m. Thursday morning.
It happened on MLK Boulevard near the Read House.
Police officials said the 57-year-old man was crossing the MLK Boulevard when he was hit by a Jaguar heading East.
The driver never saw the man.
Chattanooga Police Department said the 57-year-old pedestrian was crossing against the walk signal and did not have the right of way.
This incident remains under investigation.
