CPD seeks public assistance in locating 49-year-old suspect wanted for First Degree Murder
Chattanooga, TN – The Chattanooga Police Department is requesting the public’s help in locating LaJeffery Romane Sparks, who is wanted for the First Degree Murder of a 42-year-old man.
On October 5, 2024, at 12:38 a.m., police responded to a Person Shot call in the 4100 block of Fagan Street. Upon arrival, officers performed life-saving measures until EMS arrived and transported the victim to a hospital, where the victim was later pronounced deceased.
An active arrest warrant has been issued for Sparks, with charges including First Degree Murder, Possession of a Firearm During a Felony, and Unlawful Possession of a Weapon by a Felon.
Sparks was added to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation’s Most Wanted list on November 18, 2024.
