Chattanooga, TN – According to the Chattanooga Fire Department, this unfortunate incident occurred on Monday.
It happened in the 1500 block of Chamberlain Avenue.
Chattanooga Fire Department crews responded to a report of a house fire.
The responding crew saw flames coming through the attic.
They were able to keep the flames from spreading to the house next door.
The roof of the house has collapsed, officials said.
No injuries were reported.
The cause of fire remains under investigation.
