Chattanooga, TN – East Brainerd Road has reopened in both directions after a temporary closure caused by a Chattanooga Police Department investigation.
The Chattanooga Police Department initially closed East Brainerd Road between Gunbarrel Road and Jenkins Road while officers conducted a police investigation in the area.
Motorists were advised to use alternate routes during the closure.
In an update issued at 8:38 p.m., the department announced that East Brainerd Road had reopened to traffic in both directions.
Police did not release additional details about the investigation.
