Putnam County, TN – According to the Putnam County Fire Department, this unfortunate incident occurred around 3:10 a.m. Sunday.
It happened in the 6000 block of Martin Creek Road.
Putnam County Fire Department crews responded to a report of a residential structure fire.
When crews arrived to the scene, they found a residential structure fire fully involved in flames.
The home is a total loss, officials said.
The single occupant of the home was treated for smoke inhalation on the scene.
According to the Putnam County Fire Department, the cause of the fire was determined to make shift heating using a pan.
