Chattanooga, TN – The Chattanooga Police Department is investigating a shooting that left two men injured on Arlington Avenue, with both victims suffering non-life-threatening injuries.
The shooting happened on July 25, 2026, at approximately 6:15 p.m. in the 1100 block of Arlington Avenue, according to Chattanooga Police.
When officers arrived at the scene, they located a 19-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound. Hamilton County EMS transported him to a local hospital for treatment.
Police said a second victim, a 29-year-old man, later arrived at a hospital in a personal vehicle with a gunshot wound. Investigators determined that both men’s injuries were not life-threatening.
The preliminary investigation found that both men were in the 1100 block of Arlington Avenue at the time of the shooting and that both possessed firearms. Police said the exact circumstances surrounding the incident remain under investigation and that all available leads are being followed.
The Chattanooga Police Department’s Homicide Unit and Crime Scene Unit responded to investigate and process the scene.
Authorities said the information released is preliminary and may change as the investigation continues.
