32-year-old woman arrested, charged with aggravated child abuse in relation to the death of 13-year-old boy

Clarksville, TN – According to the Clarksville Police Department, the 32-year-old woman was arrested and taken into custody on Tuesday.

Her name is Cheyenne Maddox and she is now charged with aggravated child abuse/neglect/endangerment of a child in connection to the death of 13-year-old Kadaris Maddox.

The 32-year-old woman was booked into the Montgomery County Jail on a $75,000 bond. 

Clarksville Police Department officials announced that on July 6, 2022, officers responded to a residence on Virginia Terrace where the 13-year-old boy was pronounced deceased following the arrival of first responders.

This is still an ongoing investigation and additional charges are still possible, no other information will be released at this time.
