Chattanooga, TN – Police officials said the fatal accident occurred right before 1 p.m. Saturday.
It happened in the 900 block of North Moore Road.
Chattanooga Police Department officers responded to a report of a crash.
The responding officers discovered that the vehicle left the roadway, struck a utility pole and came to rest.
The 36-year-old driver suffered life-threatening injuries and was taken to a hospital, where he later died.
His identity has not yet been released.
