Florida – A Florida man, later identified as 67-year-old Dany, is behind bars and later charged with multiple charges, including kidnapping, assault with a deadly weapon and tampering with a witness after he reportedly threatened woman with a knife to drive him to a location after the unidentified woman allegedly struck him with her work vehicle. The investigation process began last week after the woman called 911 and told the dispatcher about the incident. The responding officers made contact with the victim, who wished to remain anonymous, and discovered that she initially encountered the 67-year-old man, who was riding his bicycle, at an intersection.

According to the woman, she reportedly waved the man to go and he reportedly responded the same way. When she pressed the gas pedal, the elderly man also started moving and she reportedly bumped into him, causing the 67-year-old man to fall down. When the unidentified woman exited the vehicle and tried to use her phone to call 911, the man reportedly knocked her phone out of the woman’s hand and told her that ‘she is going to give him a ride or he will injure her’. According to the woman, the man then reached into his pocked and pointed something towards her. The scared woman then agreed to give the man a ride by putting his bicycle in the back of the vehicle, while the man was on the front seat, police officials said.

According to the woman, he put a knife on his leg while she was giving him a ride. When they arrived at the location, the man exited the vehicle, the woman returned to her office and called 911. One day after the incident, the 67-year-old man called the woman’s office and told her co-workers that he was hit by one of their employees and wanted them to buy him a new bike. The man even left his number, which helped authorities locate him.

When the defendant was taken into custody, he reportedly said that the woman hit him and his bicycle was broken. The elderly man also told investigators that he needed a ride home. The man also told investigators that he was mad and upset only to then tell the woman that she needs to return to his home after work so they could work out something for payment, but the woman told him that she was engaged. When confronted by investigators about the not so common question, the defendant reportedly replied that he ‘wanted to work out a relationship with her’. The 67-year-old man is being held on $150,000 bond.
