Chattanooga police bomb squad and K-9 unit lead joint explosives training with UTC officers

Chattanooga, TN – The Chattanooga Police Department’s Bomb Squad and K-9 Unit partnered with the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga (UTC) Police Department to conduct an explosives awareness and response training session.
The training focused on helping officers recognize and safely respond to explosive threats.
Sgt. Greg Chambers and the CPD teams shared their expertise and experience during the session, strengthening cooperation between the agencies.
Both departments expressed appreciation for the opportunity to train together and enhance public safety.
