Chattanooga, TN – According to the police officials, this unfortunate incident occurred around 8:50 p.m. Saturday at the 1700 block of South Lyerly Street.
When the officers arrived on scene, they found a female suffering from a gunshot wound.
The 39-year-old woman was taken to a hospital with a non-life-threatening injury.
According to the police officials, she was standing in front of her residence when an unknown suspect began firing from a vehicle.
