Chattanooga, TN – According to the Chattanooga Police Department, the shooting occurred right after 5 p.m. Monday.
It happened on Emma Kate Drive.
Chattanooga Police Department officers responded to a shooting call.
When the officers arrived on scene, they found 58-year-old female victim suffering from a gunshot wound.
The victim told authorities that she was standing in her yard when she heard gunfire and then realized she had been shot.
Police say the victim suffered not life-threatening injuries and was taken to a hospital for treatment.
